Betty recently experienced her years'-long dream of publication by signing with two publishers in six months. Let's encourage each other to dream the Lord's dreams and take steps to bring them to life as we meet Saturday, July 9, both face-to-face and online. An avid history buff, Betty loves to get lost in a bookstore full of vintage books and diaries or spend an afternoon online researching information. RV vacations with her husband to see museums and other historical sites are also among her favorite things. If the trip includes her children, grandchildren or great grands, she’s happy beyond words. A few years ago in Cody, Wyoming she and her grandchildren viewed objects in one of the Old Town’s historical cabins. As Betty enthusiastically brought information about the objects to life, other tourists mistook her for the tour guide!
Betty and her husband have run a small car repair shop since 1984 and look forward to retirement soon. Betty then plans to have extra time to devote to her writing.

Guests may attend for free the first two visits. After that, per ACFW national guidelines, guests must become national and local members for continued participation. If you're a national ACFW member and a member of a local ACFW that is not ACFW-DFW, you must also be an affiliate of ACFW-DFW ($5 per year).
